Qatar Economic Forum 2024
The ELT Business Group delegation was honored to attend the largest event in the region, the Qatar Economic Forum 2024, held from May 13-17. We were proud to be the sole representatives from the private sector of our country. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Business Chamber of Asian & Gulf Countries (BCAGC), especially the first vice president, Mr. Davit Tsirdava, and Dr. Abdullah A. BA Hammam, the BCAGC special representative for GCC countries, for this incredible opportunity.
We also want to highlight the crucial role of our founder, Mr. Elguja Turmanidze, who was instrumental in making this possible. Mr. Elguja Turmanidze, serving as the Chairman of the Finance-Investment Committee of the Business Chamber of Asian & Gulf Countries, played a key part in our participation.
During the summit, we engaged in fruitful meetings with local authorities and the private sector. Equally important were the networking sessions (B2B) with foreign and invited investors. We showcased Georgia's investment potential and pro-business environment, presenting several private investment projects to the attendees.
We believe that networking of this scale will bring tangible results and will have a practical impact on strengthening the private sector in Georgia, as far as simplifying access to finance and direct investments are of prime significance for our young economy.
